My love for
music and sharing it with others started many ago with singing in
church, school and civic choirs and performing in musicals. This
continued through of my college years till I joined the United
States Marine Corps. I never lost my love for music, but family and
time limited my music to me just listening to my vast collection of
music. This all changed in 1997!
While
attending a Chile Cook-Off I met the legendary Disc-Jockey Ken
“HubCap” Carter.
“HubCap”
invited me to come to the radio station that night. To make a long
story short, in two short months I became his co-host, producer,
friend and butt of all his jokes. HubCap shared his music, stories
and life with me, as he and I hosted an “Oldies” program syndicated
in Dallas, Denver, Colorado Springs, Rochester, and Albany for over
5 years. After HubCap’s death I continued to host the program for
several more years.
If you are
looking for a professional DeeJay or Emcee to host an important
event, show, reunion, wedding, or parties look no further. I have
over 7000 songs to chose form, with genres such as Big Band, Rock N’
Roll (50’s – 70’s), Country, Doo-Wop, Blues, R & B, Patriotic, Easy
Listening, Adult Contemporary and a various mix of 70’s and 80’s
hits.
